Roofing in Hutto, from the Depot to Star Ranch

Hutto was platted in 1877 and named for its railroad depot. The population grew from 14,698 in 2010 to 27,577 in 2020, so many roofs here are young while homes near the original townsite are older. Premier serves Hutto from our San Antonio office.

Local weather and roof issues

Fox 7 named Hutto among the hardest-hit areas in the April 15, 2021 hailstorm, and on April 22, 2025 Williamson County reported hail from half an inch to an inch and a half in Hutto. A severe storm and tornado also destroyed Hutto's south-side business district in 1886.

Photograph any visible damage from the ground, keep any debris, and stay off the roof. Book a free inspection so a HAAG-certified inspector can document hail and wind damage with photos and video, then contact your insurer. Make temporary repairs to prevent more water damage and keep the receipts.
